Privacy Policy

mitchdope.com — 2026 version

1. Data controller

The controller of personal data collected through mitchdope.com is Michał Dopieralski (“Mitch Dope”), contact: dopieralskimichal@gmail.com. The site has not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) — any matter concerning the processing of your data can be raised at the email address above.

2. Scope and purposes of processing

We process the minimum data needed to run the site: your IP address and general technical details of your browser (server logs), and — once you have consented — Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager identifiers. Purposes: keeping the site running and secure, visit statistics, and correspondence with artists via the email address given above.

3. Legal basis

The legal bases are Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent — for analytics and non-essential cookies) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest — keeping the site secure, technical logs).

4. Cookies

The site uses cookies in two categories: (1) those essential to the site working, and (2) analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager). Analytics scripts load only after you have given consent in the cookie banner. Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage (key mitchdope.cookie-consent) and you can withdraw it at any time by clearing this site’s browser data.

5. Retention period

Server logs — up to 12 months. Google Analytics data — per Google’s default settings (14 months). Email correspondence — until the exchange ends or consent is withdrawn.

6. Data recipients

Data may be shared with our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) and with Google LLC as part of Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager. Both are established outside the EEA (United States) — transfers are made under the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to rectify it, to erase it, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object. You also have the right to withdraw consent at any time, and the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland).

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated — the current version is always at this address. Material changes will be communicated by showing the cookie banner again.
